WELCOME!

Let's get started!

Find what you need right here

If you are new to Clear Mental Health, here you can find my Welcome Guide, which outlines each step to prepare for our class together.  After teaching many classes, I include all of the details my learners need in one single PDF document.

Whether you are new to Mental Health First Aid, blended/online learning, or just full of questions, this Welcome Guide will prepare you for a great class together.

I am not a licensed therapist or counsellor. I do not provide medical or clinical advice.  If you have questions about your health, kindly consult your physician or mental health professional.  If you need to speak with a nurse, call 811.  If you need crisis support, call the Distress Centre at 403-266-4357.  If it is an emergency,  call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

I am grateful to honour the Indigenous Peoples in Treaty 7 territory: the Blackfoot confederacy: (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani); the Îyâxe Nakoda (Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Wesley) and Tsuut’ina nations; as well as the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland.  Their stewardship kept this land pristine for countless generations.  We are all treaty people.  Reconciliation is an ongoing process of healing and honouring those who came before us and what they endured.  Learn about my own reconciliation projects here.
