Mental Health First Aid proposal

for the Calgary John Howard Society

Hundreds of people teach Mental Health First Aid with the Mental Health Commission of Canada.  I have collaborated with quite a few of them.  My business style is transparent and my teaching style is inclusive.  My teaching makes me stand above the rest and my Mental Health First Aiders are well-equipped.

Get in touch with me at any time!  I would be more than happy to schedule a time to discuss Mental Health First Aid with the Calgary John Howard Society.

I am not a licensed therapist or counsellor. I do not provide medical or clinical advice.  If you have questions about your health, kindly consult your physician or mental health professional.  If you need to speak with a nurse, call 811.  If you need crisis support, call the Distress Centre at 403-266-4357.  If it is an emergency,  call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

I am grateful to honour the Indigenous Peoples in Treaty 7 territory: the Blackfoot confederacy: (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani); the Îyâxe Nakoda (Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Wesley) and Tsuut’ina nations; as well as the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland.  Their stewardship kept this land pristine for countless generations.  We are all treaty people.  Reconciliation is an ongoing process of healing and honouring those who came before us and what they endured.  Learn about my own reconciliation projects here.
